This letter to inform you that Ram Meter Inc. acquired the assets of the Calibron Instruments Division of Cal-Tek Company, Inc. on October 28, 2008. This acquisition combines the resources of two long-established meter and instrument distributors. Please change your records as of October 28, 2008 to Ram Meter Inc. in lieu of Cal-Tek /Calibron.

Ram Meter, Inc. is based in Troy Michigan, and has sales offices in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Ram Meter Inc. has been in business for over 72 years. Calibron Instruments was founded in 1979 in Cambridge Massachusetts. Both companies have a long tradition of offering many the same and similar product lines. One key aspect of this acquisition is that Barbara DeMaria, a long-term employee of Cal-Tek Company, Inc. with over thirty years experience in our industry, will maintain a sales office in New England for Ram Meter Inc.. Feel free to call Barbara and offer her your congratulations and continued support.

Another aspect of this acquisition is the way in which it will effect Cal-Tek Company, Inc.. Cal-Tek Company, Inc. has traditionally been a Primary Standards Laboratory offering repair and calibration services in New England. As a result of these changes Cal-Tek Company, Inc. will expand the scope of the metrology services it provides to its customers.
